New endings

Continue working on your new endings to The Giver.  Your endings must be completed and ready to share with your groups in class tomorrow.

Write new endings for The Giver.  To get us started, I'll read the last page and a half from the novel and we'll talk about some ideas you have.  You must have a plan approved before beginning you ending.

Getting our letters ready to send!
1. Make sure you 2 copies of your letter printed off.  One will go with your business letter packet to graded (on the third marking period) and the other will be sent
2. Get a blank envelope and put our school's address in the top, left hand corner and the company's address that you're sending it to in the center of the envelope (see example)
3.  When you have these things done-you're done!!

Join forces!  We will be reading some information about WW I and take a short quiz.  Then, I will be talking to groups about their business letter to make a plane to get it done.
