(Almost) End of the Week Wrap Up!

HW: CNN Student News, Outsiders Chapter Guide 1-3-due Friday, September 25

Today we'll be reading Chapter 3 from The Outsiders and you will complete the Chapters 1-3 Chapter Guide found in the Google Classroom.  This is due tomorrow.

Also, don't forget your CNN Student News is due tomorrow and it's also the last day to "TURN IN" your Me Essay and last week's CNN Student News for late credit.

Keep track of your Outsiders books and be sure to bring them to class everyday!

We're also having our first Yearbook Club meeting of the year here in room B7.  Join us (Mrs. Law and me) after school if you're interested in learning more about it!

First Full Week!

Hopefully, you turned in your Me Essay in on Friday.  If not, please make sure you get it in by this Friday for up to 60% of the original grade (100).

This week, we're going to be gearing up for our first novel this year, The Outsiders.  We'll be thinking about what it means to be a teen in 2015, learn about the author and the art or story telling, and study some short stories that share similar themes.

I'm looking forward to great week!  Check the classroom daily for assignments and announcements!
