GRADE PORTFOLIOS

Our Portfolios are a way for students to monitor their academic progress in real time.  We will total portfolios weekly or sometimes biweekly.  Portfolios will show grades earned for a week's worth of assignments.  80% of a Portfolio grade is academic and 20% is based on the Class DOJO (being an active learner, directing their own learning, being a positive influence, being prepared to produce results and being responsible) Major assignments, like essays or in-class projects, will count 100% as a separate "OTHER" grade.  Portfolio grades will be posted on School Tool.  The break down of each portfolio is below, along with the date work will no longer be accepted.

Our late policy is simple.  All assignments, unless directly collect by  me, go into my mailbox.  The mailbox is located in The Hub.  Before handing in an assignment, students need to label the top.  See the document below for labeling procedures.  Late work is accepted up until a week after it's been collected.  After a week it cannot be made up.
