Because of our flexible scheduling, ability to group students, common expectations and procedures, students on the STEAM Team are awarded numerous opportunities to develop their 21st Century skills (creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and communication).
Some example of these opportunities are:
- Team Projects
- Public speaking opportunities to the large group (100+ people)
- Frequent guest speakers from the community
- Video conferencing (with NASA, guest speakers that can't make it in)
- Best Week Ever
- Imma Bee
- Classroom projects that take advantage of our flexible schedule
