CNN Student News
You'll notice on many online news reporting agencies and blogs that there is usually a comment section under the article or the post. The section is meant encourage people to interact with what they read. You'll also notice sometimes that while people are interacting and discussing, the comments sometimes become disrespectful. You are going to write a "comment" on one of the news stories featured on this episode of CNN Student News. Remember, that although personal and opinion based, your comment should be thoughtful and focused on the topic you chose.
- 9/15 CNN Student News
- On a piece of loose leaf paper write a "comment" on one of the stories that was covered.
- Use a heading on your paper (name, date, group, assignment)
- 5-7 sentences
Station 2
Journal 2- What is your theme song(s)? Be sure to identify the title, artist and specific examples from your life that show why this is your theme song.
- Respond in your journal with a heading (name, date, group, assignment)
- 1 full page in length (at least)
Station 3
Editor in Chief-Detective Byrd
- Put your name at the top
- Find and correct all the errors in the paragraph (no need to rewrite)
Station 4
Science
- You will need your science journal (use the left hand side, the back, in your journal)
- Follow the directions on Mr. Fahy's Blog
