5 Interview Questions?

Read "The Story of an Eyewitness", by Jack London, on page 160 in the green books.

As you reading, keep in mind this is a feature story.  A feature story is similar to a news story because is captures the who, what, where, when, and why, but also goes beyond and really gives readers a detailed description about the event.  As you're reading, on a piece of loose leaf put a heading:

On one side of the loose leaf WHILE YOU READ:
  1. Create a flow map the flow the series of events of the article
  2. Create one box for each bold heading (title the first box-Intro)
  3.  In the box, summarize the section in 1-2 sentences.
One the other side of the loose leaf AFTER YOU READ:
  1. Describe the who, what, where, when and why (why is it news) of the story
  2. Share 2 pieces of evidence from the text of when the author gives descriptive details.  What are they describing and how?
